download In this video, BioDogable illustrates the difference between their technology and outdated biodegradable plastic bags. (Hosting-NewsWire.com, July 04, 2014 ) St. Louis, MO - Missouri -- To celebrate their recent partnership with Amazon.com, BioDogable was offering its dog waste bags at a deep discount for a limited time only, marking down a 200-count roll of poop bags for dogs from $24.99 to $17.99. The company has announced that it will return to its normal retail price on July 3rd, 2014.
Ryan McMullen, the Owner of Biodogable had this to say, "The idea behind dropping our prices so low was to get a lot of customer feedback about buying on Amazon.com very quickly. We really wanted to incentivize our customers to use Amazon and let us know about their experience."
Company officials have previously cited their shift to Amazon as "Just another customer experience enhancement in a long line of making it as easy as possible for our customers to buy our products."
Amazon currently sells more products online than the next 5 largest online retailers combined (Apple, Staples, Wal-Mart, Costco and Best Buy), so smaller companies have been flocking to Amazon's platform as an additional portal for selling their products.
Industry experts point to Amazon's willingness to adapt quickly and experiment with new online shopping experiences as a reason for their meteoric rise from a small online bookstore housed in a garage to their current 26 million square feet of warehouse space.
"We're a smaller company who rely on a strong customer base and referrals for new business. We don't have the sales force to go knocking on the doors of the big box stores to beg them to put our products on their shelves. Amazon allows us to do that, so it's a major growth point for our business," added McMullen.
