(Hosting-NewsWire.com, April 02, 2013 ) San Francisco, CA -- The Toronto ShopLocket is integrating with blogging giant Wordpress in order to launch a particular plugin, which will enable an in-blog e-commerce option.
The Canadian company's WordPress plugin will allow users to the blogging platform in order to allow sale on their sites to be much easier than before. Prior to this update, WordPress users were forced to find a third-party plugin and self-costed accounts in order to utilize online stores.
Buyers will now benefit as well, as shoppers who want to purchase items from sites utilizing ShopLocket's plugin will not have to be routed to separate websites in order to check out.
ShopLocket is now marketing itself as "the easiest way to sell professionally online," thanks to the lightweight ecommerce tool that can be added to a specific website, Facebook page, or blog. While there are early clients tending to sell low-cost products, they are also working on finding clients who are considered “professional sellers.”
The concept works particularly well for those sellers who are already dealing with demand for a product and have a web presence, but are without the infrastructure to handle the quantity of sales on their own websites. The plugin is free for installation, but the site owners will pay a 2.5% credit card processing fee on all purchases.
