After finally making his way to the stage at London's O2 arena two hours late on Monday Night, the Canadian singer seems to have crossed a fine line with many parents for breaking curfew.
While such a fine would be small change for the megastar, the reaction from the parents of the fans for his late arrive are supremely scathing and unforgiving. The sheer quantity of deluge of criticism on Twitter has been fierce.
"Daughter and Nieces at O2 to see Justin Bieber – Still not on stage at 10.20 on a school night – That's just taking the piss!" tweeted one apparently unhappy father.
Wendi Peters, who is a former Coronation Street actor, also added to the pile-on, tweeting that Bieber had finally made his way to the stage at what she felt was a "ridiculous time" – nearly two hours after his advertised time of 8:30 p.m. local time.
"I shall have an extremely moody daughter tomorrow .. Livid !!" she added.
Further twitter users turned their fire of ere to Beiber's own Twitter page, which hosts 35 million followers. One person noted: "@Justinbieber you underestimate the power of a room full of pissed off English women #wewantbieber #justinbieberattheo2"
The prices for tickets for the sold out show started at £57.65, which surely added to the anger felt by those in attendance. The venue's own account tweeted, "Justin Bieber is now on stage and apologies for the lateness of his show."
