(Hosting-NewsWire.com, July 25, 2012 ) San Francisco, CA - With Android Ice Cream Sandwich’s release to Samsung’s flagship smartphone, Galaxy S2, Samsung is now planning to release this new Android operating system for Samsung Galaxy Tablets range. This news has not been officially revealed by Samsung. However, sammbile.com already reported that Samsung will offer upgrade to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich for its Galaxy Tab devices beginning July.
Although this is not yet official, it has already been expected that the roll out’s first phase will start on July. Samsung users in Korea and European countries would be the first lucky ones to try the upgrade. But, it will also be released in other countries.
This upgrade in Android operating system is believed to bring longer battery life to the devices and make the tablet devices to run faster. There will be new functionalities that will be added as well. It is expected the upgrade will be done to the following Galaxy Tablet devices: Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, 8.9, 7.7, Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus and other Samsung Galaxy tablets as well.
Since there is no official announcement yet from Samsung, more information is still needed to know like the devices which will receive the update and the order of rollout that will happen.
