(EMAILWIRE.COM, April 17, 2012 ) El Segundo, CA -- Marshall Electronics, one of the largest manufacturers of best known for their broadcast video equipment and professional microphones announce a joint venture with StreamVu TV, which allows Marshall’s new HD encoder/decoder boxes called the Producer Station to produce live HD video streaming to an unlimited number of locations when sent out to the StreamVuTV’s server. Just plug in a HD video camera and microphone to the Producers Station connected to the Internet and you’re on the air. Now producers and talent can watch their productions, without having to be on the set. With the connection in place, users can log into the video feed on any computer or large screen LCD monitor.
The Producer Station is available either in standard definition with composite input (PS-11, $399), high definition HDMI input (PS-102-HDI., $999), or high definition HDSDI input (PS-102-HDSDI, $1,999). Encoders like these have traditionally been too expensive and limited to government and military use. StreamVuTV’s service can cost as little as $.50 GB of data transfer. “Streaming live video is a great way for entertainment executives to see what they need without continually hopping on planes or being tied up in traffic”, states Perry Goldstein, Marshall Electronics Sales & Marketing Manager.
For direct viewing Marshall has developed the VS series of Encoders/Decoders and Cameras for HDIP video monitoring from one point to another which would be well suited for production or technical staff requirements.
The system will be on display at NAB 2012, Las Vegas at the Marshall Electronics booth C6419. See the live stream from Tuesday April,17 to Friday April 19, from our booth. Click on the link at: http://www.lcdracks.com.
