(Hosting-NewsWire.com, May 24, 2013 ) England, UK -- A new study conducted by AMI Partners for the Microsoft Corporation found that 3.8 million small businesses give non-technical employees the task to manage computer systems and communications. In the end, they lose about $24 billion on services and products that these layIT workers say are needed, when they don’t actually know the primary problem.
The involuntary IT managers generally lose the company up to 300 hours a year on business productivity. Thirty percent of the involuntary IT managers that were surveyed by AMI partners even thought that IT maintenence was a complete waste of time and nuisance.
26 percent of those surveyed said they did not feel like they were qualified to handle IT situations and 60 percent wanted to simplify the company’s IT system to make it easier to handle the day-to-day IT problems.
Founder, chairman and CEO of AMI Partner, Andy Bose said that these types of companies would probably benefit from a good cloud computing system, and give them a positive impact on business production. Almost all of the involuntary IT managers in the study showed an interest in using a cloud system, and since the survey, 33 percent of them say they will try to purchase a cloud system within the next 12 months.
